Tom Powell is a classically trained composer living in Madison, Wisconsin. He works primarily in the electronic medium with samplers, synthesizers, and computer-based sound production, and composes mainly for contemporary dance and performance art, as well as for yoga and meditation purposes. He is drawn to music of the atmospheric, ambient, contemplative/meditative, and sculptural genres.
