Biography
Thomas Cunningham Thayer (born November 7, 1960) is a singer-songwriter and guitarist originally from Portland, Oregon that has had a important role in two major American bands, serving as a lead guitarist for the American hard rock band Kiss as well as a lead guitarist for the pop metal group Black 'n Blue. An 'ascended fan-boy' of sorts, his association with Kiss' Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley began in 1994 and escalated from being a minor assistant to working as a touring manager and finally to becoming a full band-member, with Thayer controversially taking the 'Spaceman' role previously held by Ace Frehley.
