Toney Lee is an American singer, songwriter and music producer, best known for his club hit Reach Up. It reached up for the position #10 on the US Billboard Dance chart.

In 1983, Lee recorded his first single Love So Deep for Radar Records. It was not as successful as his second single called Reach Up which was produced and written by Eric Matthew (best known for his work for musicians like Gary's Gang, Sharon Redd and Sinnamon) and Toney Lee. The track is also known for its dub techniques, a post-disco phenomenon that preceded emerging house music.

In 1987, Lee as a member of a house group called The Shy Boyz, which was a collaborative project of Lee and Farley Jackmaster Funk, recorded a song U Ain't Really House for the House Records label.

Nowadays he is active in gospel music.
