Tonic Breed is a one-man thrash metal project by Patrik K. Svendsen. Established in Sarpsborg, Norway, Tonic Breed was a full-pieced band of four musicians until 2019. As of 2022, the band has two full-length releases in the album catalog, Install Memory (2018) and Outsold (2014). Fuel the Fire is the latest release by Tonic Breed and the first installment in the new era of the band. Recently singles have been released with musicians from bands such as Megadeth, Soilwork, Kamelot, Endezzma, and Wig Wam.
Often described as part of the new wave of thrash metal, Tonic Breed delivered heavy, groove, and melodic elements to their music. Nevertheless, thrash metal and groove metal have been the core of the band's foundation.
