Torsofuck is a Finnish brutal death/deathgrind band based in Harjavalta that came into being in 1995 as a 2-man project by Mikko Friberg and Åke Andersson. Music was somekind of noise/grind at first. Soon after forming the band, Åke left and Jarkko Haapala came in. Few years passed, many line-up changes happened and band was actually not so active: their first gig lasted only for 8 minutes and was very poor (judged by the band themselves), but some great underground supporters liked it and wanted the band to play more gigs. Torsofuck played live few times more with bad line-ups while learning how to play death metal and trying to find their own sounding style. Furthermore, they recorded the High Level Cannibalistic Violence demo tape in 1999 and only 30-40 copies were made. Soon after that, the band split up.
Somewhen around 2002, Hostile Regression Records asked band to share a split CD with Brazilian goregrinders Lymphatic Phlegm. Mikko and Jarkko got together again and recorded 4 tracks with much better sound and skills put into work. Music was self-determined as 'ultra brutal goregrind with some US death metal influences'.
The idea of switching from hiring a real drummer to using a drum machine has came up when Mikko listened to the demo of Jarkko's side-project Pus, entitled Cases of Decay which was unofficially released in 2000. Not to mention Friberg being the fan of Mortician and other death metal bands using drum machine as well, he enjoyed how that sounded and thus inherited the idea to Torsofuck. Using horror/gore movie samples in song intros is partly the result of drawing influence from Mortician.
Sometime later, the label Goregiastic Records from US contacted band and signed it to release the debut full-length CD Erotic Diarrhea Fantasy album. After that, due to personal matters and other unnamed reasons, Torsofuck members lost interest to record the album and split up again. Goregiastic Records contacted the band few months later and so the recording sessions begun. After a few delays and problems, 9 tracks of 'ultra brutal goregrind' were ready and sent to the label. In 2004, album saw the light.
At this point, until the last show and further (now third) split-up in 2009, Torsofuck became a 4-piece with a real drummer, and they started to play many live shows.
They also have announced in March 2005 to release a new album under the same label as well, which was titled As Semen Blends To Rot and supposed to sound more like an old-school death metal, but that have never been finished 'for many reasons'. As a matter of fact, album's release date had been re-scheduled many times: summer 2005 -> early October 2005 -> early 2006. In December 2005. track list and artwork done by Mike Majewski from Devourment were shown to public via Goregiastic's website.
In the interview to ETERNITY magazine from 2009, they had also announced another album called Necrodeflowering, (renamed from Lovely Turds) which supposed to be somewhat different from their previous unreleased work, it would have been released at Mikko's own label Sick-O-Pathic Productions in summer 2009, with limitation to 300 physical copies. But that have also never happened. Known song titles: Aroused In Kennel, Lovely Turds, Hot Shit Ecstacy, Granny the Fingerfucker.
In 2011, an album Scent of a Dead Women was announced for release in April-May, along with split CD featuring Oxidised Razor by the end of said year, by German label Morbid Generation Records. Both ended up being unreleased.
Later, two ex-members, including Mikko himself, started a new group in 2017 named Torso. After years of consideration, Torsofuck officially reformed around 2018-2019 after Jarkko contacted Mikko if he's up to record a second album.
In 2023, they released an album Postpartum Exstasy for the label Morbid Generation Records.
Meanwhile, Mikko wanted the band to be on New Standard Elite label, but they have a rule which requires bands to have a real drummer. This led Mikko to bring his son Miro on as the band's new drummer, and EP Feasting on Carved Remains got released in April 2025.
