‘10 Songs’ is the 9th studio album from Scottish indie rockers Travis. Released on the 9th of October 2020. The band recorded the album at RAK studios in London and completed work just as most of the world entered lockdown for the Corona Virus pandemic.

The unofficial first single, ‘Kissing In The Wind’ was released the previous December and served as the closing Soundtrack to the band’s documentary, ‘Almost Fashionable: A Film About Travis’.

The Official first single ‘A Ghost’ premiered on Ken Bruce’s Radio 2 Mid Morning show on June the 3rd 2020, alongside the albums cover art, track list and release date reveal. The video for which was hand drawn by the bands lead singer Fran Healy while quarantining upon arrival back in LA after returning from the recording session in London. Originally planned to be filmed, Healy released he could animated the video on his iPad using a technique called rotoscoping, before turning to his son Clay and his drown to film the last 40 second in a socially distanced manner.

The second single, 'The Only Thing' features guest vocals from Susana Hoffs from The Bangles, Fran got in touch with her after replaying to a twitter post a couple of years earlier and realising they had a shared appreciation for each other vocal talents.

The album was made available for pre-order and pre-save On Streaming, CD, Vinyl as well as limited edition red cassette tape, double CD and red and blue double vinyl, the latter two of which feature demo versions of all 10 songs.
