Biography
Trent Gentry (born July 25th, 1986) is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, artist, and editorial writer from Austin, Texas. He was born in Dallas and briefly attended Arizona State University for Secondary English Education.
He has played piano since the age of 5, and was known to learn advanced songs by ear in one day. His father is a guitarist and ultimately influenced him to give the guitar a go himself. In high school Trent began to write poems and lyrics, finally playing in a talent show in which he realized his calling was music.
Gentry moved to Austin, TX to pursue his career in music and is currently working on his debut album 'stars…'. He also had a two-year stint as a child actor on the national touring version of Barney.
