Biography
Core members from ladyguard alarm, Paul Cole (not the artist that last.fm links to) and Steven Noble plus a mystery third member. The band formed in Washington, Tyne and Wear, UK around 1996.
The name was inspired by the British composer Tristram Cary.
Random sounds and melodies from Korg MS-10, Juno 106, Korg M-500, 6 string fretless bass and a midi guitar and sound module play over repeating loops from the same Yamaha PSR SQ-16 used by ladyguard alarm. Nothing was planned.
All sounds were gloriously captured in mono by a single microphone hanging from a bedroom lightshade.
Only 3 cassettes existed of these recordings. One live gig was performed at Wearstock '96 with the two original members only. Some video footage of this exists, some of it was accidently taped over with 'The making of The Matrix'! A second generation VHS copy of this has been discovered and is now in the possession of s_p_a_c_e_m_a_n. His mate Dave has promised to transfer it into the digtal realm. Watch this space .
Recently discovered recordings of a higher quality were recently uncovered. Tracks include those which were played at Wearstock '96 plus the 'Amazing Recordings' which were jammed and recorded live. These tracks form the collection 'Wearstock and Beyond'.
