Biography
“TROLITE” is a Bulgarian psychedelic blues-rock band formed in 1995 by four friends from childhood and university who dreamed to play rock music. From the beginning the formation started making cover versions of The Doors, Cream, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, J.J.Cale. One year after the band started creating its own songs. By the year 2000 “TROLITE” have performed in many live shows and few festivals in Bulgaria managing to record two demo albums which were never released for the public.
The next few years the band did not act in any performances till 2003 when members of the band got together again and started composing new songs but having very few acts during the next years. At 2008 the members took decision to make their own studio which became a fact in the beginning of 2009. After this the formation concentrated on rehearsal and recording of already created material meanwhile performing in live shows around the rock clubs in the country. As a result of this work the first official EP was released on September 2010 called “Drummers in the sky” which consisted of five originally composed songs.
Each one and altogether band members were inspired by the music of Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Cream, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, King Crimson, Queen, ACDC, B.B.King and many other original artists.
Members from the first union of “TROLITE” stayed constant during the years with temporary replacement of the drummer and base guitarist within different periods.
