Anu Malik who gave Tulsi her break in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye says, "Tulsi has music in her veins. But she has never been vain and has always been careful so as to get work on merit and make her brother Bhushan proud. She works hard on every song and does riyaz everyday. And this reflects in her voice and her songs." Himesh and Pritam acknowledged that Tulsi's voice was 'fresh and vibrant,' and therein lays the uniqueness.
