There are two artists by this name:
1) An all-star heavy metal band, originally formed in tribute to Bathory
2) A one-off ambient/industrial collaboration between Marty Frank (Abelcain, Davros, Harpsicorpse) and Lorren Stafford (Slutmachine, Richard For Cerebellum)
1) Twilight of the Gods started as an all-star Bathory tribute band, consisting of Alan Nemtheanga (Primordial), Blasphemer (Ava Inferi, Aura Noir, ex-Mayhem), Frode Glesnes (Einherjer), Nick Barker (Benediction, ex-Dimmu Borgir and more) and Patrik Lindgren (Thyrfing).
The band is named after the legendary Swedish band's sixth album, Twilight of the Gods.
They released their first album, Fire On The Mountain, in September 2013.
2) A Marty Frank and Lorren Stafford collaboration. Their self-titled album, Twilight Of The Gods was released on Thac0 Records in 2014. Mostly focused on dark drones, noise and epic arrangements. With many thematic references to Norse mythology. They have also collaborated under the name of Treachery with Rachael Kozak (a.k.a. Hecate), a black metal project.
