Biography
U.T.I. can refer to one of four groups of musicians.
The first (chronologically) is a late 80's hardcore punk band from San Juan Capistrano, CA who released one self-titled 7" in 1987 and were on the "South Orange County's Trail of Destruction" compilation along with Gadnium, Violation, Against The Grain, The Bullies and Johnny Monster and the Nightmares. The name U.T.I. stood for Under The Influence.

The second is an active noisy, crusty, thrashy hardcore punk band from Toronto, Canada (or more specifically Mississauga). Their influences include Cut the Shit, Acid Reflux, 9 Shocks Terror, Career Suicide, Fucked Up, and Poison Idea.

The fourth was a short lived grindcore trio from Manchester made up of members of Scumface and Battenburg Death. The name U.T.I. stood for Urinary Tract Infection.
