Biography
Intuitive and process-driven, Ultra Beauty pursues the technology of collaboration to its shimmering horizon, producing something familiar and alien, a whole that does not equal its parts. This is pop-radio from the underworld and for a world haunted by coming insurrection. Their debut EP invites listeners into a twisted fantasy, one part Seventeen magazine, one part rising sea level- the world ending while Britney Spears sings on- a sound you might call collaborative emergence. Ultra Beauty is Raina Martens (guitar), Madeline Joey Rose (drums), and Luke Reddick (bass). They are based in Washington, DC.
