Biography

宇海-UUMI- is a Japanese singer who was born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1985. In 1988, she learned classical ballet for five years. 1994 : Participated in a musical by Furukawa citizens in Miyagi Prefecture.

In 1995, she joined the SCS Musical Research Institute, which was founded by Chizuko Kajiga of the Shiki Theater Company in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, for eight years. She appears on about 7 works and 40 performances a year, a total of about 280 stages, in many places such as the Prefectural Hall and the Welfare Hall.

2002 : Musical ' Anne of Green Gables ' sponsored by NTT DOCOMO sponsored by the United Nations Association for Classical Live Live Appeared as Girl Ann. At International Forum Hall C.
2003 : ' Victor DVD Karaoke New Hit 10 ' Includes 10 karaoke guide vocals.
In 2004, she started singing original songs at live houses in Tokyo.

In 2005, while serving as a backup dancer for events such as festivals and Odaiba Adventure King, Tetsuo Miyoshi and others, she continues to sing at live houses in Tokyo.

In 2022, she released her seventh album, "Rebirth" produced by Taisuke Sawachika. In the same year, she successfully hold her first hall concert.
In 2023, she participated in supporting children in Pakistan as the vocalist for the FNS Charity Campaign 50th Anniversary Image Song "WINDY ROAD".

In 2024, she wrote the lyrics for the FNS Charity Campaign song "Pass the Smile" and participate in supporting children in Nepal in a duet with Junko Yagami. She is also active in providing music for NEC's brand movie and as a chorus for NHK's "Covers" and "SONGS".
