VDB started about 2 and half years ago. "Born in a basement" small cities like Marshall there really isn’t shit to do, so you fall into drugs or sit on your ass Waiting to become a product your surrounding society. Ya see there used to be a big music scene here in town and that’s where I met most of my friends, At the show’s it was an outlet an escape. There was a period that it all disappeared, people left town went to college or joined the troops. We knew what had to be done "boredom will fucking drive you crazy either were gonna freeze in this city or were going to do something with ourselves and speak out about it”. Let’s give kids that outlet again, away from the family life, and all the bullshit involved with school, the world, and get um out to the shows again. I don’t think that throughout my life I’ll ever find a band of friends devoted like this, “you’ll learn so much more from a record jam more than you’ll ever learn in school." -Connor p.s.
