Vanity Plate is a Minot, North Dakota-based band.
"Just your classic passion project between husband and wife and Connor and Mo," the group describes themselves on their Band Camp page.
The group put out its latest release, Year of the Shark on November 3, 2023. The credited band for that release is vocalist and bassist Jazmine Schultz, guitarists Zach Schultz and Zach Mulholland, and drummer Connor Wentz.
Additional musician credits include percussion and synth contributions by Blake Burbach as well as pedal steal and organ contributions by Robert Kramer.
Year of the Shark follows, in chronological order, Quilt in May 2015, I Welcome the Change in October 2015, Not Cool in July 2017, Perennial in August 2018, and Wilder in December 2020.
