Biography
Verdoux stumbled upon each other through a craigslist ad in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. Pulling from bad experiences with ex-lovers and nights spent in a garage with guitars and copious amounts of alcohol, founding members Michael Taber and Devin Trott quickly discovered the sounds which would inspire an album.
In 2013, the group wrote and released their debut full-length record entitled "Your Lipstick". Their jumpy, heart-ache fueled rock n roll received rave reviews in IE Weekly Magazine and several local newspapers. Following the release, Verdoux took their show on the road, playing their first sold out venue in Flagstaff, AZ.
Often times the group's sounds is compared to that of The Airborne Toxic Event, Atlas Genius, or Third Eye Blind. Masters of their art, members Michael Taber (vocals, guitar), Devin Trott (guitar, vocals), Steven Villa (bass, vocal), and Dennis Denerjim (drums, vocal) mix guitar driven 90's summer rock with modern alternative sounds and rich vocal harmonies, always leaving crowds thirsty for more.
