Viera Blech was founded in 2004 as a quartet and currently consists of seven top-class musicians. The musicians have all completed music studies (Innsbruck Conservatory, Mozarteum Salzburg, Anton Bruckner Private University Linz or University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna) and work internationally as instrument teachers, music pedagogues and freelance artists.
