6) Vincent, a composer and performer of original music for children. His CDs have won multiple national awards, including Parent's Guide to Children's Media Best Audio and Classics Awards, Parents' Choice Honors and Awards, Children's Music Web Award and NAPPA Award. His music is curriculum-based and interactive, as well as entertaining. Vincent is a self-taught musician. He plays piano, organ, guitar, harmonica and all types of percussion. He was born in western Massachusetts, of Portuguese heritage. He lived in England and New York City, but upstate New York is now his home. Vincent has five CDs of original music, Vincent and the Big Bad Kitchen Band, Read to Me, Brand New Day and Just One Step, and 'Working Together
