Viral Lode is a one man rhythmic/power/industrial project
Formed proper in early 2005, Viral Lode have become increasingly popular on the underground scene, utilizing electronic forms of distribution and embracing digital music sharing to attract a wider fan base.
Recently reactivated after an 18 month hiatus Viral Lode has returned with a string of new influences and ideas with plans for several new albums and other projects.
The name is derived from a deliberate misspelling of the term Viral Load- meaning a measure of the severity of a viral infection, which can be estimated by calculating the amount of virus in an involved body fluid.
