1) Black metal band based in the North of Scotland. Formed in September 2003, the debut EP "From Lofty Peaks…" was released in February 2010. The following 4-way split with Phaleg, Diversis & Denizens was released in 2013. Another split with Edinburgh based masters of noise, Wraiths, will be released in Summer 2014.
Vostok is heavily influenced by Scottish history, especially the period immediately preceding the the Highland Clearances through to the resulting Diaspora. The debut EP is now sold out but can be downloaded at:

2) Montreal based Art-Rock band, influenced by indie/post-rock, garage and no-wave of the 80s and 90s including The Fall, Gang of Four, Joy Division, Pavement and Sonic Youth

3) With members hailing from NJ Virginia & Florida, Vostok is a culmination of many factors that create their unique style and purpose. Lush instrumentation coupled w/ sullenly crafted lyrical compositions & melodies, adhere anyone listening to sentiment.
Vostok began in Orlando, Florida as a three piece in 2002, but by early 2003 they had added a fourth member, solidifying their line-up as well as the commanding sonance they have since become known for. Near the end of 2003 Vostok turned to fellow Orlandonian Ira Sterling, and his recently birthed 17-0 studios, to commit their sovereign songs to tape. After a short gestation Vostok had parented their debut twelve track album titled This Scavenger Low.
4) Mexican rock band formed in 2006.
