New album's pretty good! I suppose it'll please both long-time listeners and new (post-ESC) fans. I wouldn't have minded a few more songs though as 45 minutes just isn't enough when it comes to new Voyager material ;)

I just listened to "Promise" for the first time, live at the ESC 2023 and OMG, what a tune! These guys don't joke around when taking absolute bangers with them to the ESC. I had no idea that, this year, they've finally made it to the final. I'm rooting for Australia, now!

Oh so that's what the brutal change into horrendous dance floor/neon lights imagery was about! :D Haven't heard the newer songs yet, but honestly thought there are now two different Voyager bands lumped into one in both Last FM and on Spotify. :D

I don’t care if lockdowns go on for more than a year why don’t people just start taking. Music to the huge spaces outdoors ? I don’t think live music should be impacted it’s stupid and unnecessary. Who wants to have the music experience ruined by Bs social distancing? Won’t work, good luck stopping musical creativity, watch everything take its own sovereignty back ;) .

Anyone looking for some more Aussie Prog goodness - Melbournes very own Teramaze and their 7th Album "I Wonder” Crowd Fundraiser. 9 days left, 55% of their goal reached so far. Get amongst it! They deserve it. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/teramaze-7th-album-crowd-fundraising/x/24125355#/

The funny thing is that Portugal had a band like Voyager back in the '80s that actually went to the Eurovision: https://youtu.be/dhZEU6Ofock

OK, kind of :D I absolutely love "Runaway", it's so sad that the song didn't make it. I'm sure Europeans would go nuts for it at the contest!

Happy New Year! Looking at my charts from 2019 it seems that, despite only discovering Voyager, my top 4 tracks all came from the Colours in the Sun album: 1. Colours, 2. Runaway, 3. Water Over the Bridge, 4. Brightstar. Got my fingers and toes crossed that they play Scotland this year. Hope you all had a great new year :)

I'm gonna have to say the new album sounds boring and Generic. It's a problem this band has with every other album. Ghost Mile (2017) and the Meaning of I (2011) are Magnificent. V (2014) is rather lackluster. Colours is the same. I can fall asleep listening to it (so far). 4 Songs in and I'm not impressed.

Holy shit, I'm very late to the party, but what a band! Very glad I've discovered them through Spotify.
