Biography
Word Finder was a short-lived, Tokyo based three-piece band started by Goro Nakatsugawa, Masaya Usukura, and Seita Aoyama. Active year of band was from late 90s until 2001.
The band featured many intricate guitar melodies with energetic pop sensitivity which drew immediate similarity to American emo/post hardcore bands like Cap'n Jazz and Braid, while simultaneously drawing influence from contemporary Japanese melodic hardcore (melocore) acts in its melody-forward songwriting.
After disbanding the band, Nakatsugawa and Usukura formed the band Comeback My Daughters with members of other bands.
