Biography
There are more than one artist with the name Waif: 1.) A British acoustic rock group trying to break free from the restraints of Britpop. They found a perfect balance between Lo-fi experimentation and well crafted melodies. Waif split in 2000 before their first major release leaving the world with various snapshots of half recorded E.P.s and demos.
2.) James Waif Garcia (1988-2016), a rapper and producer hailing from the Americas, known for his dense lyricism, baritone delivery and calm cadence. A collection of the late artist's work can be heard on YouTube.
