Ill-fated Argentinian film and television composer Waldo de los Rios has gained a cult following for his lush scores for the Spanish horror classics LA RESIDENCIA (1969), THE CORRUPTION OF CHRIS MILLER (1973), and ISLAND OF THE DAMNED (1976). While not composing scores for low-budget films, de los Rios developed popularity for his transforming classical compositions into pop music. Sadly, this talented composer would suffered a nervous breakdown and took his own life in 1977.
