wannabe, formerly known as basicinternetwannabe, is an American ePunk, incelcore, shoegaze, SoundCloud artist. that has become well-known in the incelcore community thanks to hits like "wtf god must've shadowbanned me," "hikkichan," "boxxy", and "goddamn you half-japanese girls." These songs exemplify the incelcore spirit of rebellion and raw energy that is commonly associated with the genre. With its violent guitar riffs and powerful vocals, "boxxy" perfectly embodies ePunk, while "wtf god must've shadowbanned me" gives a riveting performance that moves quickly.
Most of the songs of wannabe are scattered throughout the internet by different uploaders attempting to archive his songs because most of them got pruned (hikikomori vol 1 for example) the reason for that is unknown.
