In 2020, the project was nominated in the Discovery of the Year category of the Radio Head Awards. Czech magazine Fullmoon included the duo among the "11 hopes from Slovakia" (2021). They have already managed to present their music at festivals such as SHARPE (SK), Beseda u bigbítu (CZ) or Takt (SRB). After two years of work and concerts, Waterbased are releasing first singles from the upcoming debut album, Silent Regions. The album will bring lyrics written from a place of unrest. From a place that searches for identity and questions certain features of society. The listener immerses himself in the organism of the confession, where the space is materialized by the sound design of producers Isama Zing and Aid Kid. The musical friction of dream pop, noise, trip hop genres creates generative original combinations of transformed bodies in a deliberate game.
