Wazomba is a Swiss based band that have regional success and are renound to be a great party band!
They have been playing together for 10years and are having theyr big anniversary this year.
Wazomba is despite linguistic similarity neither a new Japanese high-speed train nor a pre-historic Egyptian moon sect.
Wazomba is a rough sound phenomenon, whose roots are based on the dancing friendly jamaican offbeat.
In optimal occupation noises up to eleven shapes down the stage. Drums, bass, guitar, organ and voice are attacked by innumerable horns, and the merciless steam-roller is ready for the full-extent wazombic roar.
Wazomba plays self-written self-interpretations. The confused set sounds somewhere between ska and reggae, swing-trash, klezmer-polka to psycho roost'n'roll and Balkans jazz.
It's a must for everyone, who risks an unexpected desire of an unforgettable expression-dance.
