Biography
Wear Your Glasses is an Experimental band with a closeknit following, especially in Northridge, California. Known for their wacky shows in which popular culture references and irrelevant jokes are made before, after and during playtime, Wear Your Glasses features Mackenzie Owen (also known for his solo act of the same name), John Connolly, Tommy Romero, and Ford Crispino. All members are anglo-saxons except for drummer Ford, whose racial derivation met outspoken argument when discovered to be of Phillippino origin. This development, especially in the wake of the death of Ichabod Zanchoftstein, the band's former drummer, a Swedish immigrant who spoke little to no English and supposedly met his demise in the lower level of a fishing boat as he made an overseas journey to Europe in time for Purim, was met with disdain from all band members. The band plays shows, and is rather good.
