Biography
Fusing raw lyricism with jazz harmony and a dry wit, Preis's music is poignant, funny, and distinctly her own. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter - who, as she describes herself in her single "2 1/2", has been "running from something dark since puberty" - has a penchant for analysis. In her music, she picks apart her relationships, deliberates on her experiences in college, and celebrates the beauty of love and the human condition. She is currently based in San Diego, California
