"Honest music by honest people". This is Westhaven's mantra as an alt-rock band in 2018. In an era of paid for followers and false standards, Westhaven stands apart by committing to say no to hype. Their pop influenced debut single Red Ink sets out to prove that music can be raw and vulnerable while still being catchy.
With music set to release throughout 2019, their sound ranges from intimate simplicity to roaring anthems of desperation. Westhaven's greatest hope in making music is to not just relate to the stress and anxiety of the human experience, but to create a community that fosters an optimistic path for self improvement and awareness.
