Biography
Whirly Pites is a band from Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Members include Cory Henry, Alfredo Casablanca, Mickey Monroe, Tristan Tortollini, Reggie Spike, and DJ Fishbone McGee. The band formed in mid-2010 and released their first album in August of that year. August 13, 2010 marks the date of the first official Whirly Pites performance which took place at Frank's Rock Garage. Whirly Pites toured with Drew Blake And The Classics in late 2010. Frontman Cory Henry states that Drew Blake is his idol and the tour was "nothing less than perfect" for him.
Whirly Pites released a second studio album on January 14, 2011. The record entitled "Dumber Than Dumb" gained the band a larger amount of fans and led them to their first headlining tour. The Tell Yo' Friends tour kicked off on January 28, 2011 and will continue until June. Whirly Pites is scheduled to perform at Disasterfest 2011 with bands such as Prometheus and The Headaches.
The band has already begun working on a third album. This album is to be entitled "Yes Thank You Please" and is to be released in June or July.
