Biography
whitemask is a British-born record producer best known for his synth-heavy trap and electropunk albums. Beginning his discography in 2018 with several EP releases, he has since released several short 7 track albums and a concept album, "overdose". He accredits his influence to the likes of Crystal Castles, Tm88, Lex Luger, Southside, Kanye West and Lemongrass.
The inception of the name was linked to a story-line which the first 3 years of releases told via music. Near whitemask's house was a white halloween mask found in a river, the story of which was explained in his first EP release "riverside". After establishing a skill set for electronic production, whitemask quickly abandoned the idea of creating complicated stories over multiple releases and consolidated his efforts into making short, high quality albums.
Starting in 2022 with the release of "Nude", whitemask began his streak of 7 track albums, including the electropunk Butcher, Gasoline and War trilogy.
