Who-ya Extended is a Jpop and alternative rock Japanese band, or as referred to on their website, "a creators' unit" which debuted in late 2019. The band is centered around vocalist Who-ya, the only named member of the band. The rest of the band's members as well as their identities remain unknown currently. Their debut single Q-vism released on the 27th of November 2019, alongside S-cape 2 the abs. The former single garnered the band a reputable amount of attention after its' feature in popular Japanese anime 'Psycho Pass 3'.
Since then, Who-ya Extended have worked with the 'Psycho Pass' franchise once more, releasing their second single Synthetic Sympathy on March 9th, 2020. This single served as the anime's opening track and would later feature on their debut album wyxt. which was released on the 15th of April 2020.
In January 2021, Who-ya Extended returned, being in charge of another opening track for the second cour of popular anime 'Jujutsu Kaisen' with their song VIVID VICE. The song would then be compiled alongside new tracks in the release of an eponymously titled mini-album.
