Biography
This fine young man's name is David Segedy. He started Whoa Bro Awesome in 2007 while living in Muncie, Indiana playing in a group called Arrah and the Ferns. Segedy wanted to branch out and experiement in the likes of drumming. He wanted to push drumming as far as it could go, push himself as far as he could go and change how people looked at the drums in general.
He started playing improved solo drum shows and self-released 2 improved drum EPs that year. The first EP (recorded by Wes Deboy) was entitled Chilin' With the Wiz and the 2nd (recorded by Sean Shell) was entitled On the Mountain Top with Nothing to Shout.
After a while he moved to Bloomington, IN where he added guitar in the mix, but still playing by himself. After awhile he developed a way to play guitar and drums simultaneously. Soon after, he recorded an EP with Matt Bruns entitled Glow in the Dark composed of 6 of his new found guitar and drum ballads.
He is still living in Bloomington, IN interning at SC Distribution and going to IU. He is currently working on a new full-length album. Until that comes out you can catch him playing the bands Prayer Breakfast and Everybody
