Biography
Windwell is a Seattle based duo formed by Caleb Jacobson and Brett Baird (Handsome and Gretyl). They combine relational and life stories with highly dynamic and emotional music to create music that is relatable and moving.
In 2015, after starting the recording of their new project, they released three songs; In Orbit, Somewhere New, and Fall. In December 2016, they released a cover of Irving Berlin's White Christmas.
In Spring 2017 Windwell released their EP entitled Burrow consisting of 5 songs with label Bravery Music.
Currently Windwell is working on a long term project of cover songs from throughout the past decades starting in the 1950s. The covers range from folk to cinematic but all have a new spin from the original version.
August 2019 their first EP released with 1950s covers including; Fats Domino, The Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash, and Frank Sinatra.
