A number of artists share the name Wir:
1. Wir (pronounced 'Wire') was Bruce Gilbert, Colin Newman and Graham Lewis of Wire. The 'e' was dropped from their name in lieu of drummer Robert Gotobed's departure. They recorded an album in 1991 entitled The First Letter.
2. Wir was a german rock and pop band that was formed in 1970 by Wolfgang Ziegler and Jens Gerlach.
3. WIR is a german electronic / rap-project by Audio88, Ben and Kid Kabul from Berlin. They released an album called "Über der Einsamkeit des Einzelnen" in 2007.
