Within Darkness, a NJ metalcore band, started with two brothers, Fabien and Jaider Cruz, from Colombia that came to America to make their dream of starting a band come true. Within Darkness started in late 2007 with line up of Fabien on lead guitar, Jaider on drums, Ronney on vocals, and Alberto on bass. With time comes change and Ronney and Alberto left the band. The Cruz brothers went on a four month hiatus until they put an ad on myspace asking for new members. One day Alex responded to the message for the part of Vocals. They set up a date to practice with the help of Veneneo on guitar. The band was set from there until one year later Veneneo left the band. Within Darkness was left scrambling to look for a new guitar and bass player. They found Dan Poli, ex- A need for reason, to fill in for guitar. Dan then recruited his friend Eric Lupardi for bass duties. With a solid line up Within Darkness has played venues such as Starland Ballroom, Croc Rock, and The Stone Pony. Within Darkness is motivated and ready to kickass and take names.
