Biography
Wonder Wheel is a Fullerton, CA based band / recording project, fronted by Paul A. Rosales, with Raul Esparza (bass) & Danny Gonzalez (drums). The combination of post-punk thuds, psychedelic swirls & krautrock rhythms (re)animates the band's colourful back-catalogue. Over twenty solo albums have been re-evaluated & songs redesigned to construct many new pieces of pop.
In 2010 NYC/London label Care in the Community released Rosales' commercial debut "Wonder Wheel I." The debut is a collection of solo recordings from 2006 to 2009, skipping across eight previous self-released albums.
The band continues to work on new material and no end is in sight for these Hispanic California dudes.
Fun Fact #5: Home-recording pioneer R. Stevie Moore instructed Rosales to create the band in 2008.
