Biography
YAO is a name of three artists.
YAO group of Breton musicians,who play celtic (Breton) and fest-noz music.
Members: Franck FAGON : clarinette et saxophone (he plays with group Diwall too) and with couple of jazz bands.
Philippe TURBIN : Accordéon touches piano- jazz pianist and composer,he has played with such famous Breton groups as Strobinell, Caré Manchot, KANFARTED ROSTREN etc…
Yann-Guirec LE BARS : Guitares acoustiques
he has played with DIBENN, PELLGOMZ et HASTAÑ
Another artist called YAO is a hip-hop/electronic artist who uses samples, scratching and Acid Pro to create inventive and often humourous songs (also known as BM2).
Another artist called YAO is Almaty-based beatmaker, known for his work with rapper BySuN. They released their joint album "Превращение" ("Conversion") as BySuN & YAO in December, 2014
