Sebastian Carandang, known professionally as YEEK, is a Filipino-American singer, songwriter, and producer born in Jersey City, New Jersey and raised in Naples, Florida. Drawing early inspiration from both indie rock and hip-hop, he began creating music in his teenage years, later honing his genre-blending sound that fuses R&B, alternative pop, and rap.
Moving to LA in his twenties, YEEK self-released his debut project Love Slacker in 2015, followed by Sebastian in 2017, both of which helped him build a strong online following and establish himself as a standout voice in the emerging DIY music scene. In 2021, he released Valencia, an album that marked a turning point in his career, showcasing his evolution as a producer and storyteller. In 2023, Yeek released his third studio album Future Reference, a 15-track project blending sleek, nocturnal pop with introspective lyrics and early 2010s alternative R&B influences.
