Biography
James Yuill is an English folktronica musician from London, currently signed to the Moshi Moshi record label. A self taught musician, James has played the guitar, piano and drums from a young age and has gigged as a member of many teen bands.
His songs combine the intimate, emotional roots of folk with the cold, stark production style of modern electronica. Developing his song writing talent from an early age has enabled him to build up a substantial back catalogue of material, recorded on his home studio. He is currently performing this material on London's live music circuit.
He has recently been involved in co-writing the scores for two short films and has provided the music for Channel Four's 'Off Limits' season. James's debut album 'The Vanilla Disc' was released on his own label in March 2005.
