Yamashita Kousuke (born February 17, 1974) is a Japanese composer and orchestrator.
He was born in 1974 in Hamamatsu of Shizuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Music Department of Tokyo University, in 1996 he started making game music. He expanded his work making music for drama and animation.
Having experience accumulated in the performance of certain skills and sense of melody, soundtracks written by Yamashita Kousuke became quite popular. In his works, Orchestration and a good addition of a wide range of styles of rock and pop music could be sensed.
