Biography
Yasunori Shiono (塩生康範) is a Japanese video game music composer currently employed by Neverland Co., Ltd (or n-land for short).
He began his composing career in 1989 along with sound directors Motoi Sakuraba and Masaaki Uno. The three formed Sergent Wolf Band, the sound department for a game development group called Wolfteam. In this team he worked on a few of Wolfteam's titles for the PC88 and PC98 such as Arcus II and Ryu.
In 1993, he left Wolfteam for another developer, Neverland Co., Ltd. for the soundtrack and sound design in the Lufia Series (エストポリス伝記), for which he is currently most known for. All of his work for Neverland have been for games under the direction of Masahide Miyata (Lufia, Chaos Seed, Cima the Enemy, etc).
