Josh is popularly referred to as YatesXV in the realm of music production and calls Australia his home where he has established a personal form of alternative and emo rock genre. It is through his songs that he gets to fully convey what he feels thereby venting out his sorrows. The alias “YatesXV” is deeply personal; it is derived from a crucial event when he was fifteen years old.
