Biography
Many moons ago, on the summit of Mount Riff, there lived an old man, who foretold a great prophecy.
The prophecy spoke of the rebirth of rock 'n' roll, the very brand of cacophonous racket that once struck fear into the hearts of the righteous, and left all who basked in it's glory fevered, sexed, and clamoring for more - blood trickling from their ears.
Alas, dark times had befallen the world of man. Looming, the ever growing wave of indie-dance-funk-psych-power-emo-ego-glitter-wayfarer-fixie-jam-fad-throwback-soul-pop threatened the very sanity of the musical landscape.
Sensing the masses could no longer live without their precious opiate, the old man struck his mighty fist into the ground, cursing all those who ever dared to stand in the path of the great Mount Riff. Thus, from the deepest, hottest fires of Earth, Yellabird was born.
Erupting into the night like a demon horseman, Yellabird set forth to burn the village of every man who strayed from the gods of rock 'n' roll, and take back all that was once glorious…
