Biography
Alex Orton-Green (Yoof) and Jody Shires (Bionic) are 2 brothers behind the Sonz of Mecha. Both born and raised in Sarf east london and who boast some serious credentials. First and foremost they are the label bosses and owners of the innovative and truely underground u.k breaks label Mechanoise. Collectively they produce the guises Uncouthyouth, Bionic, Mechanoise soundsystem and the Sonz of Mecha. In addition, their production skills and talent have enabled Mechanoise to have a strong rosta of artists through the years, producing innovative music in collaboration with other DJs/labels and programmers.
