Biography
To be an individual under a firework-lit sky is be one player in a larger sea of people, one vessel sailing in a bigger fleet of ships, one person playing in a grander symphony.
You The Symphony is an idea created by five individuals who believe that music and art can be more than the five of us standing on a stage with 200 individuals staring back. It can be a collaborative experience, more pure and honest in form, something shared by both the band and its audience. For without an audience, whether it be as magnificent as 10,000 or as wonderful as one, music is nothing but a resounding gong in an open field of lillies.
As a band, we believe that YOU, in fact, are the symphony. You are the changers, the movers, the believers. You can take whatever which is around you, and sew it into your world, as an integral part of art and love and grace and peace. We believe that YOU are the ones who can make our music resound in only its purest form, filtered through the hearts and minds of those who love and understand it.
