Biography
Young Black "Gutta Child" is the true definition of a southern rapper. This Dallas native holds strong to the southern beat. Compared to Andre 3000 for his ability to stretch the sound and fuse it with an old school beat, yet never compromising that Texas grit. Young Black started producing beats for others, he became dissatisfied with how his music was being represented, so he held to the old adage' "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself", so since then he's been holding down the Texas music street scene hard. This has been proven both by "Big Boy Stuntin", is his current single (a "street" anthem) which has been receiving overwhelming spins by N. Texas' #1 DJ pool "The Definition Djs" and “Frankie” Dallas' current hot dance club single in which Young Black produced and did the hooks. This includes clubs spins and mix show airplay.
Recently, Young Black and his idol, Gucci Mane fused their powers bringing together each ones undeniable rap skills for the remix of the "Big Boy Stuntin".
"Big Boy Stuntin" will be featured on Rich Mind Records eagerly awaited album compilation "D-Tour", which will showcase all the record labels artist roster. The project is set to be released July 7th, 2009 in support of Black's debut album that will roll out sometime during the third quarter of 2009. The purpose of his solo album is to further promote and cause awareness of his abilities as a producer/song writer in the music industry.
Young Black "Gutta Child" is a lyrical/production force of nature to be reckoned, with expert wordplay and unique beats that bring candor to the dance floor. Unafraid of taking chances and crossing the boundaries of Rap and Hip Hop, Young Black has lived what he spits, he explodes with fresh, head-banging street rhymes that just make you hit replay.
