Biography
ZIYOLA is a visual kei band from Osaka, Japan, active since 2021. The band is part of the loud kei subgenre and has undergone several lineup changes since its formation. The current line-up is vocalist Koharu (小春), guitarist Sho (将), bassist Bucchi, drummer KOTARO and support drummer Shiyu (志雄).
Initially known as Aveldcain, the group originally formed in May 2021 as a five-member band consisting of vocalist Cochi, guitarists Sho (将) and Coe, bassist Yuta, and drummer Kotaro. The band debuted with the demo single "Meikai" in August 2021, which was accompanied by a lyric video on YouTube.
By August 2021, Kotaro had left the band, leaving four remaining members. On November 18, 2021, both Cochi and Yuta departed, leading Aveldcain to temporarily pause its activities with only two members remaining. On December 14, 2021, the band rebranded as ZIYOLA and announced that they would resume activities in January 2022.
On January 6, 2022, ZIYOLA officially restarted, introducing a new lineup with vocalist Koharu (小春), guitarist Sho (将), bassist Bucchi, and additional members vocalist Shigure (紫紅-SHIGURE-) and guitarist Sakura (千桜-SAKURA). They released their debut single "Kyomei" (共鳴) the following day, on January 7, 2022. However, shortly after, on February 14, 2022, Shigure and Sakura left the band due to musical differences.
In June 2022, drummer Kotaro rejoined the band, marking a new phase for ZIYOLA. On June 29, 2022, the band released their single "Gekkai" (月海). In August 2023, ZIYOLA released a mini-album titled NO FATE.
